Candle Care

Skai Brite candles are made with wood wicks, which burn a little differently from traditional cotton wicks. Proper candle care helps your candle burn evenly and perform its best.

Before each burn:

• Trim your wood wick to approximately 1/8"–3/16".
• Remove loose or charred wood from the previous burn.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.

For the first burn:

Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the container to help prevent tunneling. Never exceed the recommended maximum burn time while establishing your melt pool.

While burning:

• Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Always burn within sight.
• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from drafts, fans, open windows, and air vents.
• Keep away from curtains, paper, décor, and other flammable materials.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Never touch or move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot.
• Never use water to extinguish a candle.

If the flame becomes unusually high, begins smoking heavily, or flickers continuously, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool completely, trim the wick, and relight.

When to stop burning:

Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Continuing to burn a candle when very little wax remains can cause the container to overheat.

Wood Wick Tips

If your wood wick will not stay lit, it may need to be trimmed. Gently remove the blackened portion of the wick and try again once the candle has cooled.

When lighting a wood wick, allow the flame to travel across the width of the wick so it lights evenly.

Wax Melt Care

For safe use of Skai Brite wax melts:

• Remove all packaging before use.
• Use only in warmers specifically designed and approved for wax melts.
• Follow all instructions supplied with your warmer.
• Never leave a warmer unattended while in use.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Do not add water to melted wax.
• Do not melt wax directly on a stovetop or in an unapproved appliance.
• Keep the warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface and away from flammable materials.
• Allow wax and the warmer dish to cool completely before handling or removing wax.

Room Spray Safety

Skai Brite room sprays are intended for home fragrance use only.

• Do not ingest.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not spray directly onto people or animals.
• Keep away from open flames, candles, and heat sources.
• Use caution around finished surfaces, flooring, furniture, and fabrics. Test an inconspicuous area first if needed.
• Wipe up spills promptly.

Car Vent Freshener Care & Safety

• Keep the bottle upright when opening and installing.
• Avoid spilling fragrance liquid onto dashboards, plastics, leather, painted surfaces, or upholstery.
• Wipe spills immediately.
• Do not ingest.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Follow the installation instructions provided with your Skai Brite car vent freshener.
• Do not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.

A Final Reminder

Always follow the warning label included with your Skai Brite product.

Never leave an active candle or fragrance warmer unattended.

If a product appears damaged, cracked, leaking, or otherwise unsafe to use, discontinue use.
